Sunflower Oil is extracted from the plant Helianthus Annuus and is named for its fascinating ability to follow the movement of the sun. Native to the Americas, the Incas used it for its therapeutic properties. Sunflower oil is used in cosmetics because it is rich in Omega 6 and Vitamin E. It leaves the hair very soft and shiny and delivers intensive restructuring and repairing effects to stressed hair, eliminating dryness and dehydration. The hair looks brilliant without bothersome frizz. Sunflower oil also moisturizes and protects both the skin and hair from pollution, sun, and aging. Phytosqualene is a molecule found in human sebum, as well as in certain plants such as olives, amaranth, rice bran, wheat germ, and avocado. Ours is extracted from olive oil. For Use on Hair: To complete the ritual and for daily use, apply 1-3 drops in the palm and gently massage into the lengths and ends. Before drying and styling, depending on the length of the hair, warm up 1-3 drops of oil in your palms, then distribute through damp hair. This treatment protects the hair from the heat of straighteners or hair dryers and reduces drying time for easier styling.
Pre-Shampoo Pack: During the day, once or twice a month, massage and distribute through the hair, focusing on the ends or on areas with the most damage. Comb the hair with a wooden comb, then cover it with a hot towel. Leave the pack in for 20-40 minutes, then proceed with cleansing.
At night, to optimize the product's regenerative effects apply to hair and scalp and leave in overnight, covered with a turban. In the morning, rinse out the product and wash the hair with the MyVeg Cleanser.
